If your cell phone or smartphone has a GPS Chip and an active data plan in it then you can experience the full rich HailCab experience.
(60% of cell phones sold in 2008 had GPS chips in them). If your cell phone or smartphone does not have a data plan or a GPS chip in it and you are a 'HailCab Verified Member' you can stil use HailCab by texting an available cab with your location and physical description.
Information by Carrier:
-Sprint and Verizon Wireless have put GPS chips in all of their new phones starting in 2008.
